The following privacy policy describes the principles of gathering, processing and using data obtained by the Senetic on-line store. Personal and contact details of users will not be disclosed to third parties, either free of charge or for payment.

Data automatically collected when a user visits the site

During a user’s visit to our website, information is automatically gathered about the user’s actions and parameters: operational system type, web browser type, IP address, visit duration, number of pages viewed and the site from which the user was transferred. The information is not combined with personal details so the user remains fully anonymous. Statistical data about the movement of users and their visiting of respective areas of the service are taken from “cookies” recorded by our server on the hard disks of our visitors. The data are collected by external, commonly used Internet systems for gathering statistics of web page visits.

Data actively collected when a user visits the site

Clients may submit a request for proposal in order to gather information concerning availability, price and features of products. In order to use this function a client will be asked to provide a first name and surname, e-mail address and company name. Each contact with us by phone or e-mail is associated with using the collected data in order to answer the client’s questions.

Clients can also place orders for selected products. In case of ordering products, clients are asked to provide information about their status: whether they are an individual client or a reseller.

Individual clients will be asked to provide a company name, VAT ID number, street name and number, town, zip code, country, first name and surname, phone number, and e-mail address.

Resellers will be asked to provide: a) reseller’s data: company name, VAT ID number, street name and number, town, zip code, country, contact person, phone number, e-mail address; b) Final client data: company name, street name and number, town, zip code, country, first name and surname, phone number, e-mail address (of a person authorized for the management of licences).

Information obtained in the order from the reseller concerning the final client will not be used by Senetic or any of its affiliates (subsidiaries), especially for business contacts with the final client indicated by the reseller.

Personal data protection

Your personal data administrator is Senetic. Our databases are protected from access by third parties. The data gathered in the registration process or transaction are used for correct processing of the order and also for following the status of the order and making changes at the client’s request before it is dispatched. In order to realize a contract, the on-line store may share the collected information to such entities as courier service providers and payment system operators. In such cases, the amount of shared data is limited to the necessary minimum. Moreover, the provided data may also be made available to the authorities under the applicable laws. Clients shall retain the right to access, verify and remove their data from the database after order completion. These activities can be performed by contacting the department responsible for client's transaction.

How we use the personal data to contact the client

Our consultants make contact with clients by phone and e-mail. After placing an order, current information about the order status and realization may be sent by e-mail. Clients who gave their consent to receive information about new offers and promotions (especially the subscribers to our newsletter) receive the news from our shop in the same way.

Google Analytics

Senetic uses Google Analytics, a service for analysing web page viewing statistics provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics uses cookie text files, which are saved in user's computer and facilitate analysis of web page usage.

Information concerning web page viewing generated by cookies are sent to the Google server in the USA and stored there. In case of activation of the IP address anonymization function on the web page, the IP address will be shortened within the European Union member states or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to the Google server in the USA and shortened there. At the request of this web page operator, Google will use this information for the evaluation of the site usage by the user, creation of reports concerning traffic on the web page and providing other services associated with web page and the Internet usage for the site operator. Google will not combine the user’s IP address with other already held data. A user can disable cookies by choosing appropriate settings in their web browser, however, you should remember that in such case it may be impossible to use all the functions of the web page. A user may avoid saving and transferring data generated by cookies concerning their usage of the web page to Google and processing this data by Google if they download and install an appropriate browser plug-in.
